fight at safeway
oakland police blotter, safeway, broadway, 51st, pleasant valley, fight, parking lot...
so i was on my way home and had to do an errand at safeway tonight after 11pm... when i got there, some black guys were fighting in the parking lot. there were two cars at least, involved as well: a red cadillac with rims, and a white buick, both with lights on. probably not due to any car accident.
what a gip--people in west oakland have to drive to rockridge/temescal just to find grocery stores! i dont know if they were from berk, e-ville or where, but probably w.o. The security and manager at safeway ran out but didnt want to get shot and neither did customers so they stayed in the exit doorway... and i went off on my way.
