For my bday, had dinner at Cafe Gratitude in Berkeley, an awesome community restaurant hangout space. The vegan entrees rock! The staff and clients are fashionable, living on the edge liberals. It'd be fun to take Suzie, Wanda, Bem, and Devin/Gabe there sometime. I really enjoyed the 100% veggie "sushi" special of the day. The sesame-soy sauce was fab!

I saw the stupidest bumper sticker on an expensive, tinted-glass Nissan Murano SUV today that said "10 out of 10 terrorists agree: anyone but Bush in 04" -- what an idiot! Bush is giving the terrorists and "not in this phonebook" Osama what they want -- a playground to kill Americans (Iraq), a recruiting ground (Iraqi suffering and humiliation, environmental degradation, immoral occuptation), and a way to drain our tax money into it all (spraying it out to no-bid contractors like Halliburton and KBR; $billions a month to pay for army salaries and war equipment).
I just found the coolest blog: Republicans Suck.
Maybe when I'm rich I'll become Republican. That's to say, "will I give generously when I'm rich?"
